The Katch Matchmaking Festival - Saturday Night show is an exciting virtual dating event that brings single people together. The event can be best described as speeding up normal social engagement 1000%. Within the Matchmaking Festival events you can expect to meet between 10 - 15 single people within the space of an hour.
Saturday Night events are broken down into the following age category events (once you book we will manually place you into the correct group)
- ~ Youthful : Ladies 20-30, and Men 20-32
- ~ Trendy : Ladies 30-39, and Men 32-42
- ~ Middle Aged : Ladies 40-49 and Men 42-49 (only few women placed remain)
- ~ Mature : 50+
Everyone will be nervous, all video profiles verified and personalities will be brighter than ever - it will be a fantastic time to mingle with like minded single people in a fun, relaxed environment. Don’t forget to have your favourite dibble on hand to lighten the mood and interact with others like you are Graham Norton hosting the Eurovision.
During the event you will join the bar area where there will be a DJ playing and every few minutes you will be randomly paired with someone that matches your personality in a video chat. Overall you can expect to engage with 10 - 15 people per hour during the event, so pace yourself.
While mingling you can end the chat at any time and if you like the person you can press the like button. At the end of the event you can interact further via messaging with those that you liked.
The DJ will be giving away Spot Prizes at each event in the bar area, so be the best personality you can be!

- ~ Friday 1st Oct at 8pm there will be a FREE seminar for event attendees “Dating Small Talk”, which will prepare you for the weekend events.
Attendance fee is €30 per person.

# Where is the event on?
The Matchmaking Weekend Festival is a virtual event due to Covid rules in Ireland. In a logical sense the event is like the ploughing match and located in the central part of Ireland so equal distance from everywhere.
# Can we book as a group of ladies?
We want all attendees to have as much fun as possible and quite possibly with your friends in toe both near and far. So why not attend the Matchmaking Event as a group of friends, like a remote virtual party and we will give one ticket for FREE for groups of 5.
# Seminar Sessions
On Friday night at 8pm Katch is hosting a private seminar for all paid weekend event attendees titled “Dating Small Talk”. During this relaxed presentation we will discuss basic chit chat techniques that will prepare you for the weekend video sessions.
