Coffee Dates are a matchmaking experience where we pair you with one of our single members based on personality compatibility. We then arrange an in-person date at a convenient coffee shop near where you both live, at a time that works for both of you.

For the location, you can either choose your own or let us recommend one based on our experience.

Once we find the most compatible match and they accept one of your suggested dates and locations, we confirm the details via email and the Katch app.
Before the date, we’ll send you both reminder notifications via email, SMS and inside the Katch app.
We ask both participants to wear something red—this makes it easier to find each other and adds a fun, playful touch to the experience.
Your date will be engaging, and you’ll have plenty to talk about. Take your time, enjoy the moment, and who knows? A first kiss might just be the start of something special.
Coffee Dates are a bit like blind dates—we don’t reveal your match in advance. However, 30 minutes before the date, you can chat with them inside the Katch app (to coordinate arrival or check if they’re running late).
One hour after the date starts, the chat unlocks video mode, so you can continue getting to know each other.
